ONAWA, Iowa — The competition at the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Summit Team Finals is serious, but the event is also about having fun.
Tracks and racers were recognized recently at the IHRA Division 6 (Midwest) Summit Team Finals at Onawa Dragway.
In addition, there were fun competitions with Cherrie Engebrecht from Thunder Valley Dragaways driving her silver Corvette to the win in the track operators’ race with Onawa’s Justin Richards as the runner-up.
Tony Richardson was the winner of the Pit Bike / Golf Cart race and Cory Heckenlaible was runner-up.
