The payouts have increased significantly from last season with the Super Pro (Box) winner to earn $3,000 and an Ironman trophy. The Mod (No Box) class will race for an Ironman and a $2,000 winner’s purse. There will also be a Quick 16 race that pays $1,000 to the winner along with the Ironman.

The Street and Sportsman classes will also race for Ironman trophies. The Junior Dragster will have races for the Beginners, Advanced and Masters classes with a run-off for the IHRA Ironman trophy. There’s also a Top Doorslammers race with a $1,000 going to the winner.

Entry fees are: $110 for Super Pro, $100 for Quick 16 and Top Doorslammers, $70 for Mod, $50 for Junior Advanced & Masters and $20 for all others.

In addition, there are Friday Night Gamblers Races for the Super Pro and Mod classes. Gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday with the Juniors to start at 9 a.m. and the big cars at 1 p.m. Adult admission is $20 with kids 12-under admitted free.

The IHRA Ironman Classic program is offered to all member tracks. Prior to this program, a sportsman racer could only win an Ironman if they traveled to an IHRA Summit Team Finals, Sportsman Spectacular or World Finals. This program gives local tracks a chance to create extra excitement in their bracket program and offer competitors a chance to win the prestigious Ironman.
